The criteria for the challenge: the quilt must fit into one of descriptions in
the chart listed below, and must be made with fabric from the charity bins.
The date to turn it in is the first meeting in May. When you turn them in
please attach a paper with your name, or the names of the people involved
in completing it, the designated recipient and the completed size.
With every quilt you turn in you will have a chance to win a prize.
The following is a chart showing the sizes and type of quilt we need for
each of the recipients. The sizes are approximate. The chart will be on the
website in the Charity section for future reference. We will bring the fabric
bins again for you to select fabric for charity quilts again before Summer,
and then again in the Fall. If you need fabric for tops, backing, batting, or
more information, please call Susan Berry or Paulette Bothwell
The Charity Workshop continues to meet on the third Wednesday at Ruby
Street between 10 am and 6 pm.
We are looking forward to another productive year. Thanks for all the help
in sharing your great quilts with our community. We really appreciate your
time and efforts.
